  1. They should only do a portrait-orientation box if they include a fold-out full poster inside (a classic choice, like Riven's Rebel Hive poster/box combo). If that's too expensive to add in, then just do a landscape one, since anybody who wants a portrait box already has the option of buying the standard modern-size one from Nordic Games. That's just my two cents. I won't be voting because I didn't back at the $100 level.
  2. Timed exclusivity is enough for me. And yes, a beautiful 2Player documentary really does show people in a good light, but then again, did the Penny Arcade doc series do much for their public image? Something to think about.
  3. Insuring people catch the radio drift

The lack of other cues beyond intonation might be intentional (hahah). I don't think they want to let the player know their exact standing with the media, but you actually have to listen to the audio and spot the subtle differences to gauge how tight their grip is on the country's voice.

  5. Day 6

Boy do I feel silly. Pretty much what I posted is already in another thread... I'll read all the posts before spouting off advice next time.

  7. Day 6

Just a quick suggestion on the idea about "making it feel more like you're controlling the horse instead of the rider"... If you animate the rider to always react to the horse's movements (as opposed to other games where the rider leads and initiates movements) it would be really clarify each character's role. When a horse stops unexpectedly, the rider is going to get thrown forward and have to steady themselves. likewise, when a horse is startled and takes off without the rider being ready, they'll fall backwards and have to pull themselves back upright using the reigns. You could do other animation cues too, like making the rider look around in other directions than the horse's current direction of motion, or sometimes having them impatiently kick the horse when you're moving slowly.

  9. Is it too late to suggest "Cloven"? Since it suggests both monsters (with cloven hooves) and the divide idea. edit: or Cloven Age?
  10. I voted for "Broken Age" and submitted "Ceremony of Schism". Kind of worried about the titles for voting, none of them are as exciting as Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Brutal Legend, or Psychonauts. The Cut sounds too much like The Act, though I did like the suggestion of The Fault (from somebody on twitter).
