      These Forums are closing!   10/04/2019

After more than a decade of serving this community well, these forums have finally run their course and it's time to close them down. That doesn't mean we want to close the doors on our community, quite the opposite!
Our discord server grows ever busier by the day, and we encourage all Double Fine fans to meet us over there www.discord.gg/doublefine In a short time these forums will become a read only archive and will remain that way until they become needed again.
You never know, it might happen.  There is... a prophecy. Thank you all for being part of these forums, and remember that the fun is definitely not over - so please join us on Discord! Love ya, Spaff, Tim, Info Cow, and all of Double Fine.

  1. Let's use the term 'finished' very loosely haha. I'll be doing more work with that when I get some free time.
  2. I'd love to see a "version" done at the end of our AF. Something that could be referenced as, "the community was able to put this amount of content together during the duration of Double Fine's Amnesia Fortnight". Something that could be referred to for future projects. This "version", by the way, doesn't have to be complete or final, but it should have all the bows tied and maybe a quick layer of polish applied. After this one is complete, a new deadline could be made for the final product. Of course, it's easy for me to throw out ideas like this when I'm not working on it. You guys should agree amongst yourselves. Good luck!!! I agree with this. If this were to become a part of future AFs, I think we should try to stick to the same deadline as well.
  3. My name is Josh. I am hoping to contribute some textured models to the project, and maybe some other stuff. I don't have too much free time, but I'll do what I can. I have worked on several mod teams including the Deus Ex HDTP mod, working on props and stuff like that. I also worked with Iron Wolf Studios on a game called The Increment a few years ago. In my free time these days, I work on my own game called Reminiscence, which is a 2d side scroller built using WebGL.
  4. Some more cart progress. I haven't merged the halves just yet, so there is a seam.
  5. Even though this might already be taken care of, I decided to start on a golf cart.
