  1. No FLAC download option? I am considering buying it from they but I'd prefer FLAC over MP3.
  2. I downloaded the FLAC version shortly after the release of BA: Part 2, and it had both the old and new files listed above. I noticed that some of the tracks had new lengths and what not, but accidentally deleted it before I could listen and compare. I just downloaded the FLAC version again today, and I see the duplicates have been removed, so I wanted to ask what the differences were? And was there really only 7 new tracks for part 2? I was expecting more than that I guess. BTW the new FLAC version dated the 2015/4/30 is missing any art.

  4. Thanks for these playthrough videos, at the moment my gaming rig is apparently too old to play the prototypes. It is a 2009 13" MacBook Pro, with a 2.53GHz C2D but only a weedy 256MB Nvidia 9400M. So I get between 3-4 FPS on Steed, about 8-9 on Mnemonic, 1-4 on Little Pink Buds (5-8 on Low detail version).
  5. My vote goes to Mnemonic, it has the most promise for me and I love the noire feel to the world. I agree with an earlier comment that Dear Leader would make an awesome Tablet game, but it isn't the sort of thing I'd play on my computer.
  6. I'm somewhat puzzled by your statement, as myself and many other backers (in theory all) already have part 1 on our Steam accounts before the General Public got their hands on it. A far cry from "non".
  7. Just read this about this over at Eurogamer, sorry to see Chris go but I wish him all the best for his new role. Plus thumbs up if this means we get more music from Chris, I loved what he did for AF2012 and Going Home. Btw, Jane left too? I missed that.
  8. Just finished the pitch video from Tim for the amnesia fortnight (all the games sound interesting) and right at the very end the sandwich says something, but despite 5 listens I'm still not sure what the heck it's saying. I think it's "give me the money". Anyone make it out clearly?
  9. VGX might have been okay, if they had just dropped Joel Mchale. He was awful, and his jokes were horribly unfunny. Once BA segment was over I gave up, I couldn't stand listening to him. The format was otherwise okay.
  10. I'm happy he is involved, it has turned out to be quite the cast and I look forward to seeing & hearing BA soon enough. I am very curious though what the final cost for the voice artists was, its hard to imagine that Elijah Wood, Jack Black and Will Wheaton come cheaply even if they are doing it for the love of DF/TS/adventure games. VGx was awful ... well more accurately the supposedly "funny" co-host (whoever he was) was dreadful and horribly unfunny. I switched off after Tim was finished.

  12. Unfortunately it seems people are a little tapped out after all the big games, there are a number of projects that have been struggling that really shouldn't be. Plus, unfortunately, many of the projects that are in £'s are struggling because (some/many) American's seem to be unwilling to back in foreign currencies. To the point where people are cancelling KS projects, getting a US bank account and trying again.
  13. Costume Quest OST? I just downloaded that of my Humble Bundle page yesterday. (It was listed on my main HB page, not sure it was on this DF HB page will look in a moment) I certainly don't remember it being part of a previous bundle. [edit] ninja'd by a post I didn't see as it was on page 2.
  14. It's strange how a lot of people here judge everything in terms of Broken Age. The way you write it makes it feel as if BA was the only focus and all else is just a means of getting more cash to run the show. Part of the reason I judged in terms of Broken Age is because of the inclusion of the slacker backer levels. If this was simply a "hey heres our games for Linux & Mac for the first time ever isn't that cool" bundle I wouldn't have given it much of a second thought. Yes they have other sticks in the fire but we have no idea what state they are in (self financed, publisher backed) but paying the bills is an equally good use They are doing well at the moment, 53k purchases and $425k for payments. (Minus the HB tip, what goes to charity and whatever hidden stuff there is) I'm a Mac owner too (and iPad) though I tend to game in Bootcamp more for performance reasons than the lack of games. That they are doing this is great but what you ascribe to DF being just cool & caring, can equally be seen as needing money quickly & getting free press to help raise awareness of DF themselves and Broken Age. Whatever the actual reason for doing the HB it _will_ be good for Double Fine & Tim.
  15. Nope, no issue with this at all. More money for DF seems good, ESP if its all going into DFA.
  16. Yeah I coughed up a measly $8.40 for basically BL (and given my backlog of games, more for the music in FLAC format, and Mac compatibility). I like they are doing this, but it feels like it's for a cash injection to get DFA over the finish line.
  17. I only discovered his departure the other day, i was out of the loop, saw an odd tweet from Ron, googled and kinda had my jaw drop on the floor. I can understand why he might want to move on and I imagine it will help Ron & Tim's friendship to not be working so closely together/ with the boss employee thing too. Still I had hoped he'd do another adventure for DF once Broken Age shipped, particularly now the engine and associated pipelines are up and running. What better time to start planning what's next and keep the momentum going like inxile did with design team winding down on Wasteland 2, so in part to keep the crew together they went forward with Torment. I would love to see Ron tackle and old school adventure game, like how he discusses Monkey Island 3a in his recent blog post.
  18. It's funny how many points he has for an idea he isn't entertaining. We should just do the KS so he could buy the IP from Disney. (Only discovered Ron had left DF a couple of days ago, been out of the loop)
  19. Grateful for this, was really interesting to see how it was made. I am interested as well in why those scenes were chosen, what message where you trying to sell with the teaser?
  20. I kinda hope they stick with the old "it's done when its done" mentality rather than a fixed gotta ship by date.
  21. Its a timely discussion given the comments from HBS that they are not implementing a normal "save as you want" feature in Shadowruns Returns, but implementing a checkpoint system every 15 minutes are so because it was too difficult.
  22. Having listened to all the music now, its all great though I think that Hack & Slash's music surprised me the most.
  23. Agreed. I was about a minute into this track and went "oh what is that" saw the title and then read your post. My fav music has to be the Autonomous and Spacebase DF-9 as it has the ambient electronic feel I really like (coming from mods on the Amiga & the music of Bjorn Lynne)
