  1. I was also wondering whether this is really an adventure game. From the trailer it looks like a platformer. Does the exploration and puzzle solving in The Cave involve finding and using objects? Do the characters have inventory?
  2. I was impressed by this as well, especially since his profile doesn't indicate that he backed Leisure Suit Larry or Jane Jensen. Pledge the SpaceVenture here! www.tgakick.com
  3. They could use some help with their kickstarter: www.tgakick.com
  4. I pledged--would love to play a new Space Adventure game a la Space Quest. www.tgakick.com
  5. Double Fine Adventure (paypal) Leisure Suit Larry Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road Studio Two Guys from Andromeda's SpaceVenture (needs funding: www.tgakick.com)
  6. I have a feeling they would be calling it Space Quest too if Activision didn't own the IP. Apparently legal concerns about a SpaceVenture being a derivative work of Space Quest was bogging them down for the first couple weeks of their kickstarter, but as long as they don't reference their previous characters or stories, they should be OK. I've pledged, you can too: www.tgakick.com
  7. I have been pledging for this project myself. I only found the Leisure Suit Larry and Jane Jensen kickstarters through the Two Guys from Andromeda's website. I didn't necessary want to pay for Leisure Suit Larry again, but I pledged anyway to support adventure gaming and to send a message to the industry that we still want adventure games. I hope the Two Guys will find similar support for their project. If you haven't pledged yet, go to www.tgakick.com
  8. I pledged. Between Double Fine, Leisure Suit Larry, Jane Jensen, and the Two Guys from Andromeda's SpaceVenture, it's like an adventure gaming renaissance. I didn't necessarily want to buy Leisure Suit Larry again, but I wanted to support adventure games and send a message to the industry that we still want adventure games. I hope the Two Guys will get similar support. If you haven't pledged yet, there's still time. Go to www.tgakick.com
