  1. Finally got around to watching the 2PP episode for the launch. I really wish there had been a big plastic button that everyone had to press for the game to go live...in any case, congrats to everyone who worked on this awesome game on a job well done. Can't wait to see what's in store not only for Act 2 but for the future of Double Fine as a whole.
  2. My apologies for not looking within the forums deeper! Thank you so much for the links!
  3. I'm sure this will come across as a weird question with so much real work left to be done on the game, but are there any Broken Age wallpapers floating around out there or in the works? I would love to decorate my desktop, Facebook cover photo, Twitter page, etc. with all sorts of Broken Age stuff leading up to the release! If anyone knows of any that are around on the internets somewhere, that'd be awesome if you could point me in the right direction!
  4. Maybe I was the only one that didn't watch VGX (lolz), so I apologize for missing the HUGE news about Elijah Wood! That absolutely blew me away when I saw that... This game is just looking so, so good. Can't wait!
  5. My Christmas has been made all warm and fuzzy with this new episode! Whooooooooo! So excited to sit back and watch this bad boy!
  6. Love seeing "Playboy" in the same magazine rack as "Highlights" in the background there...childhood memories! lol
  7. That was such a bittersweet line in the episode. To me (just like it is to so many of you), that group of people helped to make my childhood truly special. While, one the surface, there's nothing truly spectacular about playing video games, that group at Lucasarts gave me some of my fondest memories with their incredible passion, feeling and humor. It's bittersweet to me because while I know that there are still plenty of people out there that make games because they truly care, not just because they want to get paid, that number is now limited to the Double Fines and the Telltale Games (and other groups of course) of the video game world. I mean, Call of Duty used to be a special game to me, but then the people who thought about nothing but profits got their hands on it and look what happened. /rant I am glad that I get to share this experience with an awesome community, and I'm even more glad to know that I many people were able to share similar gaming experiences during their childhood or beyond.
  8. That's my question...if this general public alpha event in San Fran was noted on the Kickstarter page BEFORE you had backed the project, would you have said "no way, I'm not backing the project if I don't get to touch it first!" Doubtful.
  9. ...wait, so you wouldn't have backed this project if you saw that this was included on the "perks" of being a backer? I'm not going to be able to attend because I live on the other side of the country, but I look at this as a welcome surprise to people in the area, and I hope everyone has fun! Get over yourself.
  10. Would absolutely love to come out to San Francisco for this, but alas, I am a penniless man! No worries, updates and another episode are just fine by me, and I hope everyone who makes it out to SF enjoys themselves! Keep up the great work, Double Fine!
  11. Omg, I didn't even think about that at first. I'm sure he'd love to get in on a project like this too! Incredible voice actor all around as well.
  12. What browser are you using? I tried the video using IE, and I got that message that you're getting. Tried it in Firefox, and it worked fine. See if that helps you any!
