  1. Stacking soundtrack in the Humble Weekly Sale

Thanks so much for your help. I'm really sorry - I completely forgot to post to say that, rather than miss out, I purchased a copy of the Bundle, as I knew I'd regret it if I didn't. It would have been wonderful to have the full soundtrack, but it's great to have two of the original soundtrack compositions. I really must create a playlist with the other soundtrack pieces, too. I've been meaning to purchase recordings of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto and Tchaikovsky Fifth Symphony for ages, although I must confess, I'm really curious which orchestras' recordings were used in the game - just to make it that bit more authentic!
  2. As I was looking at this week's Humble Weekly Sale, I was thrilled when I noticed that the Stacking soundtrack was included as part of the bundle - I loved the game and its music and had been desperately hoping that Double Fine might one day be able to release the soundtrack. I was just wondering if anyone who had purchased it might be able to advise me if it includes the entire soundtrack or just selected pieces, please? Does it include any of the music from The Lost Hobo King DLC, too? Thanks in advance.
  3. Massive Chalice Kickstarter pledge

I'm guessing they probably want to lock down the budget for producing the physical stuff and keep the special edition box as an incentive for the kickstarter. Thank-you very much for your help, that's great. I'm really sorry, I should have spotted that thread! Thanks again!
  4. I'm currently a $50 backer for Massive Chalice, and am really hoping to upgrade to the $75 tier with a boxed copy of the game, but was just looking for a little advice, please? At the end of the funding period on 27th June, I was just wondering if pledges are set in stone and are no longer be able to be upgraded? As I completely missed the original Kickstarter for Double Fine Adventure, I became a Slacker Backer, so I'm not completely sure how things work once the funding period finishes. I would be really grateful if anyone could fill me in on whether Kickstarter pledge details are transferred over to the Double Fine website where it would be possible to upgrade to a higher tier a little later on, please? Thanks in advance!
  5. Minor question megathread

That's a great suggestion, and we can definitely investigate a No Gore option. I liked that BrĂ¼tal Legend had the option - and done in an amusing way to boot! The art style and amount of VFX support will also dictate how gory MASSIVE CHALICE will get, so stay tuned! That would be fantastic - thank-you so much! I'm sorry, I should really have said before - huge congratulations to everyone at Double Fine on reaching the funding goal. I can't wait to see how the game progresses!
  6. Minor question megathread

Apologies for such a strange question, and I completely understand if this wouldn't be possible, but - as someone who is almost embarrassingly squeamish - if the combat leans a little more towards XCOM than Fire Emblem, would it be at all possible to include the option to turn off or reduce the blood/gore in the menu, please?
  7. Autonomous menus

Thanks very much for the advice - I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed playing the game this evening. The space bar shortcut was really useful, too. Although to be honest, with how well the game ran this evening, I can't help thinking that my lack of skill was probably the main problem with the mouse! I hope you don't mind me saying, but thanks for such an fantastic prototype! Oh, and the completely awesome box art, too...
  8. Autonomous menus

Thanks so much for your reply. I'm so sorry to have troubled you, as just this morning I realised that - as I've always played Double Fine's games on Xbox 360 - I'd never updated the graphics card driver in the few years that we've had the PC. I tried to load Autonomous once more, and it ran really smoothly, but sadly the menus still weren't visible, and so I did what I really should have done in the first place, and checked whether I could see the menus on any of the other prototypes. Although I couldn't, when I tried to load Costume Quest and Happy Song, I instantly received a message saying that a file called d3dx9_42.dll was missing. After a few posts online mentioned DirectX, I tried to re-download this, and the Autonomous menu loaded first time - and the game itself had a HUD, which I hadn't seen before! I really am so sorry to have not checked this before. I was just wondering if I might be able to check something else with you, please? On the menus for Autonomous - although it did occur with the other prototypes, too - the mouse cursor seems to 'float' in the menus, as though it's almost on ice, if I could describe it that way?! If I try to move the mouse a little to the right, for example, it overshoots and carries on floating to the right a little farther than it normally would before stopping. There doesn't seem to be any problem whilst I'm in-game, but just in the menus, such as programming a head in Autonomous. We're currently using a Dell mouse which came with the PC. I must admit to being terrible with computers and so I'm probably a long way off with this(!), but I was just wondering if this may be something to do with DirectX once again, please? I must apologise for our PCs specification, as, with not using it for games very much, it's not the best! It's Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5400 at 2.7Ghz, and the graphics card is an nVidia 310. The monitor I've been using is a Dell IN1910N which came bundled with the PC. Just in case it might be causing any problems, the screen resolution is 1366x768. Thanks once again for your help.
  9. Autonomous menus

I'd be really grateful if anyone might be able to offer any advice, please? Unfortunately, I completely missed Amnesia Fortnight and so I've - very embarrassingly - only just begun to play the Autonomous prototype, but have been having a few problems not being able to see the menus. After the splash screens, the main menu music begins to play, but the screen is completely black. If I press Enter, the game loads and I'm able to play, but if I press Esc or try to program a head, the game pauses as though the menu is there but sadly I can't view it! I did try to adjust the Quality on the launcher to see if it may have solved the problem, but unfortunately it didn't seem to. I was just wondering if it might be something as simple as not having a necessary plug-in, or whether our PC just isn't up to running it?! Many thanks in advance for any help.
  10. I really hope you don't mind me asking - and do of course understand if this may not be possible - but I was just wondering if there might be any plans to offer a version of the Box Set with the Message From The President signed by Tim, along with the five project leads, please?
