  1. Some impressions from the last playtesting session:
  2. Day 10 - and.... DONE!

The game looked really great in Tim's playthrough, can't wait to play it myself Awesome work!
  3. That angry pose is awesome, David But the happy one looks fine too, that big grin And Kor, Tim is really shaping up, great work! I'd like to echo Lasd's statement, it's been an incredible experience so far to be a small part of this, seeing the crazy amount of code, art, and music being created each day by everyone; it's my first community/open-source project and I've already learned a lot along the way. I'm looking forward to the progress from here on, hopefully I'll have some time to spare to continue working on some things, even without the inspiring parallel watch-along on the twitch stream. The amount of positive feedback and encouragement from everyone at DF (beginning with Patrick!) and from the community has been overwhelming Many thanks again to Cheese for holding this all together and keeping everyone heading roughly in the same direction, while encouraging all kinds of contributions from everyone. And it was great to see Erik on location and representing our game for the conclusion of AF.
  4. Awesome, David! For embedding, I believe you have to remove everything but the video code from the url.
  5. Anna is already in the works I think Taekon has done a great concept drawing of her and put it in the github issue for character models.

  7. That would be great - other folks are already working on more models, from what I could gather. If I have time later I'd love to tackle some more characters, a full DF/AF roster would definitely be extremely cool to have up for selection I'm loving the amazing progress the gameplay programming folks get into the game each day, and the GUI elements and music already approaches great polish levels! Thanks for the positive feedback on the face anim, there's lots of good reference to get the happy face right, but the angry pose is completely speculative

  9. Although we should keep it Bad Golf, not make it Bad Quidditch...
  10. Here is a good collection:
  11. You mean like the BrĂ¼tal Legend "Double Fiiiiiiiiine!"s?
  12. HERE IS PROGRESS THREAD

Thumbs up for Blender! It's really become an awesome piece of software, even though it still has its share of rough edges and WTF moments...

  14. I'm Chris, currently based in Austria (UTC+1), and have some experience in modeling and animating in Blender (learning-by-doing while slowly working on a game concept at home), composing music, and programming (which is my uni degree). Since the music part is already taken care of (cool stuff already produced my several people, and my style (mainly orchestral) is not really the targeted genre here), as well as the coding (plus I have no prior experience with Unity/C#, mostly Java/C++/ActionScript), I'm concentrating on creating (perhaps also animating later) character models for the time being, but I'd also be interested to look into scripting some game logic (golfing part?). I'm really enjoying the opportunity to participate here, looking forward to what we can accomplish as a community
  15. That looks awesome! Headlights and all...
