Has anyone else experienced this issue where Grim Fandango Remastered's autosave (on the Switch) slightly hangs the game for part of a second? This isn't a game-breaking issue, but as a LucasArts adventure game veteran and game developer, I do find it somewhat jarring and disruptive to the gameplay experience. As someone noted in an earlier thread in 2015 thread when the autosave feature didn't exist, perhaps this is due to the singly-threaded nature of Grim Fandango's script engine? My suggestion, if anyone at DoubleFine is reading, would be an option menu feature to turn off autosaving. I get why autosave was added, but this old adventure gamer is just fine remembering to take a moment to save. And much thanks to the team at DoubleFine for working to bring Grim Fandango back for us!
