I really like bagels and sandwiches. And bagel sandwiches.
  1. Going to Florida to visit extended family. I asked for Orange Box... and a turntable.
  2. Yeah, in the RL you're usually not allowed to "walk in and kicked some ass" unless you've got the credentials. And even then, it seems that you'll need to do a bit more than walking to get into the competitive field of game development.
  3. Alright, you got me. I know nothing about Canada... except that I feel like moving there. -_-"
  4. I don't have television, so it doesn't really bother me.
  5. I played them repeatedly for years... and their sequels. Like Putt-Putt saves the Zoo and Freddy 2 and 3. So you're not alone on the aged 14 thing. Haha.
  6. I didn't play much Pajama Sam as a kid. But I did play the crap out of Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon and Freddy the Fish and the Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds. Yeah, that's right, Pajama Sam was too hard for me. They are pretty childish and if I played them again recently they might end up scaring me. But they opened up the door to adventure gaming for me.
  7. A bit off topic but, the Wii's are also pretty sturdy. Mine survived a hard yank off a 3 1/2 foot surface while running a gamecube game. The game didn't skip a beat. And the Wii hit the wall and tv cabinet on its way to the floor. Although, I still wouldn't advise trying to step over an attached and dangling GC controller without looking.
  8. I actually purchased a set off of ebay a few years ago... this was because I had no idea how to get a hold of them otherwise. I have since learned that it might have had something to do with getting your friends to buy the game and then sending in their receipts for cool swag. I would also like to add that they are my favorite set of cards. ^-^
  9. Not sure about this one... never heard of anyone talk about it/have it. Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland for the PC. I have very fond memories playing that game. It's an adventure title that was made to be the sequel to the R.L. Stine book. It's totally playable without reading it though. Plot outline: you and your friend go to a horror theme park to try to rescue her brother and his friend. I liked how they used live action with it. I'm a little fuzzy on the details because it's been so long since I've played it. What I do know is I had tons of fun playing it and even got some really good scares. Two words: trash cans. You could dive into any one in the game and end up in this underground labyrinth filled with screaming monsters. I also loved all the sound affects and music.
  10. Holy crap, I forgot about them! My brother was the blue one for Halloween once.
  11. If they are free it is the best day ever. Not free: second best day ever
  12. To get back on topic... It was a pretty good read. Nice and short too! I love it when I can get a new perspective on things. It's refreshing. I never thought about the new consoles that way before, but it's true. I also find myself saying "I'm gonna go play mah Wii now!" Note: My Tooth Fairy Mii is sure to win the "Check Mii Out" contest.
  13. But I don't want a Psychonauts II! I'd much rather see Double Fine dish out some more plates of fresh awesome.
  14. I've gotta say I love the site. I spent an hour listening to the music at work and about ten full minutes revving the interface with the mouse wheel. Oh so satisfying.
