  1. I received The Witcher 2 yesterday, which was welcome good news just before heading to the hospital.

  3. What a terrible price. Who do they think will buy it for $0.00?
  4. In some ways, yes, in other ways, no. Their resources cost money, they aren't donated to them. This can be a limiting factor.
  5. It's my favorite thing that this is the best news that fans of the old LucasArts adventures have heard in almost 5 years, and people are still able to be pissed off about it. You guys are fantastic humans. http://www.southparkstudios.com/full-episodes/s15e07-youre-getting-old
  6. I am just glad Nintendo got reality checked on the Wii U. You can't just pull ideas out of your butt constantly and assume they'll work because you have a strong brand. You also have to, you know, actually make things people want to play.
  7. Well, my pants are full of various bodily excretions now.
  8. "Steam plagued," lawl. Because paying $1 for 7 AAA games is totally not worth it if you have to run a client to install them.
  9. I only have 62 on there and it is pretty unwieldy as it is.
  10. It feels like they've really scaled back their sale frequency.
  11. I think it makes perfect sense to want a unified and simplified program that automatically updates your Gog games. The worst part of Gog for me is the hassle of downloading 25 different multi-part installers and having to manually update them whenever they release a new version. One client to download them all, one client to install them, one client to bring them all, and on my hard drive run them.
  12. Neither of those things are in issue in OMD2. The skull ratings are based on several factors that are clearly laid out in a post-game summary, and there are tons of traps and abilities with well balanced costs and various upgrades that increase their versatility. Plus, it has Steam Workshop support so you can download custom stuff if you want. Why would having a co-op mode "weird up" solo play?
  13. Orcs Must Die 2 is a huge improvement in just about every way over the first game. Not as much of a focus on getting headshots, a different character to play, more and better traps, co-op multiplayer, etc.
  14. Dungeon Defenders and Orcs Must Die are the best technically TD games that exist.
  15. Double Fine vs Telltale is one of the votes right now. Vote for Double Fine and stuff. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/tournaments/main/11
  16. I can't think of any area that doesn't need colossal amounts of improvement from them.
  17. I think my favorite part of religious folk is their innate ability to cherry-pick verses they like while ignoring ones they don't.
  18. This is a thread to talk about Thief, out next week from Eidos Montreal, makers of Deus Ex Human Revolution. I think it will be bueno. I am awaiting my code from GMG. What do you other humans think?
  19. I also have a copy of And Yet It Moves. If anyone would like it, PM me.
  20. Civ V was a huge success and very much worth playing without any expansions.
  21. The Paradox Interactive forums actually give you a tiny badge for every single one of their games you own. I think the Bioware forums do for quite a few of their games too.
