  1. Guess any Full Throttle fans would enjoy this (also yuck, don't know how to use the youtube tag )
  2. Hello there again, Double Fine! I wasn't really sure if i should PM someone, create a new thread or use twitter, so I decided to just raise the dead. Turns out that we managed to get the first edition of the event rolling and it was a great success, and now people are asking for a 2nd edition! (you can find a ton of videos of it and a lot of words in Portuguese here: http://devoidgames.com/gamecraft ) This year, it's happening in october or november -ish (we're still trying to sort out funding & dates for it), but anyway, I'd like to display my interest in bringing Tim again this year, now with some good months advance! I was going to do this a few weeks back, but it ended up being at the exact same time you guys launched the Kickstarter page and Double Fine became the most famous gamedev company in the world! So I decided to give it some time for the dust to settle (while I frantically threw money at the monitor). Anyway, the question is: is there any chance I could get Tim for a talk in Brazil near the end of the year (oct/nov -ish)? If so, what's the best way of contacting you guys to talk about it? Thanks a bunch!
  3. Hey Zack! I'm really sorry that I had to ask in such short notice, but we could only confirm the dates and funding in the past few weeks. But I totally understand that he wouldn't be able to make it. If the event goes well and we get to do a second one next year, I'll bug you guys again in the future [] Thanks a lot for the reply!
  4. Hello mighty fine folks at Double Fine! My name is Yanko, I'm a graduate student at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I'm the head organizer of a conference focused on game development. It's going to happen in the 16th and 17th of june this year, and I'd like to bring Tim Schafer to do one of our keynotes. I know he's a pretty busy guy, but it would be really great having someone of his background to share a bit of knowledge and insights on games as an industry and a medium. How can I best contact him and/or someone in the company for further information and checking availability/interest? Thanks a lot for your time and keep being fine! PS: now that I've made my formal invitation, let me say this: thank you for being an awesome company with an awesome ethos and awesome games! You guys are an inspiration!
