  1. I dunno, Yoda's Theme and the Force theme is pretty amazing. From what I've heard of the score from the new movie John Williams has nailed it again. I'm glad he didn't pull a Crystal Skull and change the themes slightly to sound like the music that would show up in a spoof.
  2. What are you playing?

Still playing Fallout 4. I hit a wall, though, near the end of the game trying to decide which faction to go with. I'll just wait for the DLC to come out and go back and reload an old save.
  3. Everybody get random!

Well, the spoilers thing applies more, for me, to cool stuff that I'm going to see in the movie. I want to experience everything myself first hand and feel the joy of seeing it onscreen. Some people get some kind of odd joy out of ruining things for people. I avoid them.
  4. What are you playing?

Still Fallout 4. Finally, after losing a settlement, I decided to start upgrading all of my settlements which requires that I do a lot of building which results in me using up my scrap. This results in me having to scour the wasteland which then facilitates more building of settlements which uses up my scrap...which requires more scouring...
  5. Everybody get random!

I don't remember who I read it from, but the best description of Twitter is this: Twitter is like Game of Thrones, there's 140 characters, and always something terrible going on. Bahahaha...amazing. What's funny is people obsess over things that happen on Twitter about as much as the drama on GoT.
  6. What are you playing?

I was the same way with adventure games in the 90's. I think I played Monkey Island 2 and 3 about 100 times and I was always on Home of the Underdogs looking for underrated ones that I never played...although, that was in the early 2000's. I once found the Leisure Suit Larry collection at a garage sale before Love for Sail came out and I got hooked on that series, too. I'm definitely glad Tell Tale is keeping the genre alive. Edit: Oh, damn. I totally forgot about Broken Age. I love that game.
  7. Everybody get random!

Ugh...I gave up on Twitter. I also don't read YouTube comments. I'm all for free speech but just because you can say it doesn't mean you should.
  8. What are you playing?

I feel like you should go back and play Fallout 1 & 2. I haven't played NV but supposedly it's the closest thing to those classic 90's games that exist. I think you can find them on GOG for practically nothing.
  9. Everybody get random!

I think that's a good rule of thumb in general; Don't complain about things when you know nothing about how they work or how they're made.
  10. What are you playing?

I know that I'm in a minority, but I was really dissapointed with Old World Blues DLC. I loved the story, the setting, the characters, the weapons and the dialogues, but it was soooo dull to play. Repetitive fetch quests, a complete focus on brutal action, and a struggle to find stim packs. It was so weird to have a basegame that encourages different character builds, and then a DLC pack pretty much just suited for combat focused characters. I thought it took the fun out of New Vegas. :\ Oh, really? I thought it was fun partly because it was so different from the base game. I was very surprised at how zany and fresh it felt, and you go back to New Vegas without any lasting consequences. It was almost like a combination between a Bugs Bunny / Marvin The Martian cartoon, Portal 2, and Fallout. I loved it! I found it really creative, and is what I would like a DLC to be. Something that experiments with the basic formula. The developers had fun making it, and it shows. Yes, it is very combat focused, and really difficult. It's all about fetching, but with many very different missions. And the whole game is short enough to not wear me out, at least. Hmmm...I should go back and play FO3 and NV. I'm an old school Fallout guy that started with 1 and 2, and I hate saying this, but I kinda missed the isometric view when I first played FO3. Having not played Oblivion and only a bit of Morrowind, Bethesda's whole system was a little disorienting for me and I couldn't get into it. It wasn't until I played Skyrim that I finally got used to it and now I'm balls deep in FO4. Have either of you played Wasteland 2? I'm curious about how the iso view holds up when you have games like these now.
  11. Everybody get random!

I feel old, too, when looking at the internet. I mean, have you seen those stupid kids lighting themselves on fire on YouTube?
  12. *sigh* I haven't bought anything else in weeks...including food...
  13. Everybody get random!

I had a Cuban sandwich for lunch and now all I want is a siesta.
  14. Y'know, instead of blocking search results for pron Google should do something useful and block stuff like that.
  15. What are you playing?

I just started playing Cart Life, too...I hate and love this game so much.
