  1. Fixed my problem with low FPS by updating my Intel BIOS, thanks for the help.
  2. Well so far I have lowered resolution to 800*600 and lower, as well as disabling all advanced options without any effect on the low FPS. I also looked into updating my card, but the latest update causes my card to stop working and then I can't even open the game as it crashes the second it is opened. Is there something you need to do before updating, such as uninstalling previous patches, or is my graphics card broken? Another side effect of the patch is that occasionally the screen disappears to become garbled as if the card just broke. Sorry I can't describe it further.
  3. I'm experiencing a large drop in FPS, what is recommended to fix it? It gets to the point that cut-scenes and knocking on doors cause 1 fps/sec. Another thing I have had trouble with is the battle screen which also experienced low fps, black screens and constant graphical tear's, though it was fixed by alt+enter. My specs; Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz 3.24 GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 5450 Windows XP 32 bit I've already installed Catalyst though it isn't the latest version, the latest caused my graphic card to fail, along with Directx3D.
