  1. Same issue here. I tried updating geforce 7 drivers, for a imac from 2008 this was not easy, still didn't work, I think I'm in a crack and need to buy a new PC to run your game. $100 tier.   2. The Immortal Ruler's Adviser!

    Could you have a little talking squirrel as an immortal adviser? As an immortal being, you can inhabit an eagle or other bird of some kind, and go and have a chat with him/her, maybe interrupting the squirrel over nuts, and maybe , like the third time you go have a chat with it, making it drop its nuts into the nearby pond. - aside - The legend of the salmon of knowledge - these very nuts fell into the pond, and were eaten by the salmon of knowledge, so that if anyone ate it, they would know everything there was to be known. (The salmon could pop up later as a foodstuff, giving your warriors 10% better skill) The squirrel would represent the forces of nature, and instruct you in ways to defeat the demons, but only in really vague ways. Only once you had uncovered some new relic after wandering around after a battle, and thus starting a new branch of research, would the squirrel pop out and say, oh yes! this is a very significant relic.

    Great idea! Epic. The word tends towards the idea of a journey. Will there be the possibility of moving your main keep, Count Duckula style?

    I think that recent events mean the likeleyhood of random game licenses being thrown at shovelware by Disney-approved game studios is being knocked through the ceiling.

I suggested 'The Other Side' as it gets at two of the themes Tim mentioned, the dual protagonist story and the grass is greener idea of having the loved ones in trouble once the girl or boy breaks out of their mould. None of the options seemed great to me, I thought a reference to a name in the story would be more appropriate, but obviously we dont know any of those yet.
  6. The Environment: Day 2

    This game looks like it will be fabulous. I have one observation about the camera question. Given that Andy has mentioned Ico a number of times as an inspiration for the game, I noticed something about the camera in that game when I was playing it back in the day; The camera position and player position have a 1:1 relationship. That is, for every single player position in the whole game, there is only one place where the camera can be. This works incredibly well for framing nice shots of the landscape as it takes a lot of unknowns about player movement out of the equation in calculating where the camera should be. The only problem is that a level designer would have to create a 'rail' for the camera and link a position on the rail to every place a player character can be, like a certain area or distance along a ledge. Hope this is a useful suggestion.

    Just listening to the new album from The D. 'The Roadie' contains refs to Brútal Legend, and Tim, with the computer game got a geek to do it for me!!! Cause I couldn't do that sh*t for sh*t...! line. I'm liking it. Liking it a lot. Janey mac I want some new Brutal Legend DLC to continue my reasons for turning on the PS3. to continue my reasons for turning it on the PS3 --- bubble looks multicoloured.

    Psychonauts sequel should be an episodic series like the original mission impossible TV show! I want to play it on consoles every month and end on a cliffhanger every time! Raz and Lili should be a couple of years older and have a cheesy and awkward romance going! Pleeeeease!
