  1. "Death" in an adventure game is just a form of consequence, and should be handled intelligently (or comedically) as appropriate. You don't necessarily need to "die" if the bad-guy catches you, but you may be turned into a walking bag of chips until you leave the room. In any case, I don't think you should ever NEED to reload a save in an adventure game.
  2. If I didn't get to eat really remarkable pizza (Grim Fandango) for over 10 years, I would acclimate to adequate/good pizza (Adventure Game X). Maybe even start to enjoy it. But now that I caught a whiff of that remarkable pizza again, I really don't want a maudlin heroine pizza that won't shut the hell up (The Longest Journey). I want an original, remarkable, Double Fine pizza with Tim and Greg's inimitable magic blend of atmosphere, character, humor and heart without condescension or lengthy expository prose... on pizza. I'm hungry. Please give me something delicious.
  3. Also played this as a kid (and liked it): "The Adventures of Willy Beamish".
  4. Anyone every played Ripley's Believe It or Not!: The Riddle of Master Lu? I remember liking this one, but last time I played it I had just bought it new.
  5. THANK you! I was almost at the end of the thread and wondered when this one would come up. +1 for Blade Runner. Wonderfully atmospheric. For fans of the movie, just pretend it is called something different.
  6. Thank you! I love the fact that you are sharing (and will share) so much about this process. Especially given how much of the development process is usually trade secret.
