  1. "... wolf costumes don't make themself after all."
  2. I had the same problem. I updated my graphic card driver 2 times, first time I only used single driver files, no use. The second time I used the AMD auto installer, that did the trick.
  3. I also wanted to leave some feedback. I'm blown away at the moment. Congrats to the whole team, great work!!! Unfortunately I need to get to bed so I had to stop playing and keep my showering you with compliments to a minimum...
  4. Won't start for me either. Here is a DXdiag snippet (specify if more is needed). I honestly don't know if my graphics card is sufficient. But I could run Portal2 on this so I figured it might work. Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp_sp3_qfe.130704-0421) Language: English (Regional Setting: German) System Manufacturer: MSI System Model: MS-7241 BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 2816MB RAM Page File: 990MB used, 3711MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.5512 32bit Unicode Display Devices --------------- Card name: ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc. Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x9589) DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz) Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV;_9589&SUBSYS;_22331787&REV;_00 Display Memory: 512.0 MB Current Mode: 1280 x 1024 (32 bit) (60Hz) Scratching bare minimum if I got that right, but I'm wondering about DX10 mentioned in the requirements on the Steam page, isn't XP 9.0c the highest version (sorry I quit PC's for gaming a long time ago). Edit: Running now, reinstalled drivers (twice, second time did it, I guess)
  5. Can't wait! Really looking forward to getting my hands on this game.
  6. I would love to do something game wise, but when I grew up in a small town in Germany there was no way to pursue this career choice. As a kid I used to sink hundreds of hours into a program called Shoot Em Up Construction Kitt on C-64 and Amiga to make games. In 2005 I started working on a fan adventure project, Zak McKracken: Between Time and Space which was released in German only in 2008. A directors cut (including English voices) will be released sometime in the future. While my work on the project is done I recently started working on the engine that was used for the Zak McKracken Project. So to get used to the engine I am now working on a prequel to Between Time and Space called Zak McKracken Goes Looking for Hot Coffe in Several Wrong Places. If this will ever see the light of day I don't know, but to me it's definitely a fun way to get to know this engine...
  7. Zak McKracken - Between Time and Space (until now it was only released in German) I worked on this fanproject for a few years, and it was the most fun I ever had "working". Just like Ron said in that interview they did before the kickstarter campaign started, to me it was much more fun to work on an adventure game than play one.

I prefer the 9-verb system. I can understand how people find it too cumbersome but to me it gives a better feeling of exploring. Like how you can knock on a door with 'push' and open it with 'open/use'. But I don't expect this nowadays if only because it looks much nicer not to have a third of your screen filled with the interface/inventory.
  9. Yes, we Germans can use our Amazon accounts. And hey, Cugeltheclever. You're name shows you as a man of excellent taste! Äh, könnt Ihr mir erklären, wie? For all the others: Hm, could you please explaine to me how this works? I already had my credit card registered with my Amazon.de account. I just entered my German account info at the promted fields. Can't tell you more... You probably need to have a CC in use already.
  10. I think that guy did the translation on lucasarts games in german so you can pretty much call him a professional. Because? Because!!! Seems like you never played the old Lucasfilm adventure games in German if you question the work he did. I play any game in English if possible but the translations for these games were perfect.
  11. So you're first name is 12RX? That's awesome! lol That made me laugh way harder than it should have!!
  12. Holy Crap....got any pokemon themed gifs? Nope, was never into pokemon so that never came to mind... but here another one of my favorites: I got an idea for a pikachu one, maybe I'll work on that the next time I'm bored...
  13. Well, now that I'm posting here all you "best avatar wannabe's" can pack their bags and go home! And if you wanna put up fight I can change it to this:
  14. Just saw a link to this thread and thought it might be nice to say "hello"! Online I go by Ogni-XR21, which is my first name backwards plus some 'random' letters and numbers. I've been lurking here from time to time but with the DFA going on I decided to join this forum. I'm from Germany, 35 years old male... that's about it. If anyone was wondering: My avatar is Sushi from Zak McKracken (I have several seasonal variations of that bowl), I did the animations for a fan sequel for that game and ever since I've been using Sushi as my avatar.
