  1. I'd appreciate it, too. I don't use Twitter and I try to visit these forums regularly to see how things are going with the project and DF in general.
  2. Got mine a couple days ago! I was toying around with the idea of not opening it, but then when I turned it over and saw that the back side of the box was upside down compared to the front, my OCD had to fix it.... so now it's opened and facing the correct way, but it's nice... and facing the correct way. I love the extras and the Blu-rays. Thank you DF and 2PP for the experience, it's been a long, fun journey getting to this point and I can say with certainty that I was not disappointed. So, now I'm looking forward to Psychonauts 2!!!! Ugh, can we get to 2020 now?
  3. I'm afraid to do this on my laptop, the upgrade on my desktop wasn't exactly smooth, I ended up wiping it and doing the clean install which is what I figured I'd end up doing anyway. I want to upgrade with my laptop, but there have been issues with Win 7, 8 & 10 installing the wrong graphics drivers and wreaking havoc on the system. Good luck on your upgrade.
  4. I was just going to post a complaint that Steam didn't give me my achievements for Psychonauts, but then I decided to check again and what do you know, they fixed whatever bug was stopping my 100% from happening. Could I get an invite: http://steamcommunity.com/id/bennigans/
  5. Change me vote to this! I love it! Though, I would totally understand if it's cost prohibitive to make. Maybe a hexipal face on the back?
  6. I just finished playing through both acts and I have to say, I'm very happy with the game. I don't know that it lived up to Grim Fandango for me; but Broken Age was just a fun game to play all around (as a whole). The humor was on point, the puzzles were fairly challenging, the sound was great (music and voice actors), the scenery was nice, too. I'm glad I was a part of this project. I'm happy to say, I was able to resist the urge to look up any solutions. There were a couple times where I just felt stumped, but I kept at it and solved/stumbled through it all. I loved the meeting between Shay and Alex and when Shay's dad walks in. I know I was thinking the same thing when I saw Alex for the first time. Some really funny dialogue throughout. I felt that Act 1 was sort of an intro to adventure gaming, maybe a little too easy. Act 2 really tried to make you work and figure things out. I agree that the ending was a little.... huh?! I figured that Shay would use Gary to use his Mogs' arms to direct the laser and destroy the wall, but when they both sort of melted... I was a bit confused. Now, this whole group of people are in the middle of nowhere with nothing but the clothes on their backs. How are they going to get back, get food? That's really, my only gripe about the game and it's not a big one, I was pretty happy with the rest of it. I'd give the entire game an 8 out of 10. Now, I need to watch the documentary!
  7. When I came to this post my only concern was the Sidequests; but I understand now they can't be on the disc as-is. I stopped watching all episodes long ago, I really don't want any spoilers for the second half and I'd prefer to watch all the episodes in order after I've played the game in full. I'd also like to watch the sidequests in order as well, between the episodes. I'm hoping there's a place to get all the sidequests still and maybe a list of where they belong in the series?
  8. I have absolutely no problem with letting others have access to the documentary. However, I'm no sure it'll accomplish what you're after. As good as those episodes are; I don't know that the people being negative are likely to sit through 40? hours of documentary, no matter how good a job 2PP have done. My suggestion, if possible, would be to have 2PP edit through the episodes and try to summarize the entire documentary into a couple two hour episodes. Creating a shorter "mini-series" would make it more approachable to other people and those that enjoy it might be tempted to buy the entire series. I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but I think it would be a nice compromise for those backers that would be against giving the series away for non-backers and for you to explain the situations that arose during production.
  9. I haven't been watching them, mostly because I don't want to see any spoilers for the game. I plan on catching up in a big way when the game is finally finished and they send out the boxes to the backers. I'm really looking forward to catching up on the entire series though.
  10. All I want is a complete product that I'll enjoy playing. I gave my money to this Kickstarter because I trust DF to make a great game, whether it takes one year or five. I'd rather it sooner, but I know games take awhile and I'm fine with that. The only thing I won't be happy about is if there's a continuation that never gets finished or finishes in a half-assed way.
  11. I really like the idea of using arrows to fast forward and rewind the scenes. Too many times, I've missed scenes or great dialogue and couldn't go back to see it again.
  12. What about having the Esc key to skip cutscenes while viewing the scenes and when not viewing scenes it could bring up the settings menu?
  13. http://www.doublefine.com/dfa There's always this link.
  14. I was at work a few months ago and a woman had locked her keys in her locker, which had a pad lock on it. I told her if she bought be a soda, I'd unlock it for her. She did, I chugged the soda and cut up the empty can. You cut the can to make a certain form and you can unlock most pad locks. I had never done it before, but it worked like a charm. So, in an adventure game setting, I used the money she gave me on the vending machine to buy a soda, used the soda on self, then used scissors on the empty can. Went a few screens over to the break room and used the piece of can on the pad lock.
