  1. I am also experiencing this issue. I open Broken Age. The main window appears for a second (with no window contents) but vanishes after about a second. I will email the mdmp files, but the exception text is The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access. My system specs can be found at: http://pastebin.com/Fn2STxK3
  2. Thanks Steve2911. My machine doesn't meet the specs and the game won't launch. I see the outline of a main window or a sec and then the window closes. Kind of angry at myself for getting my hopes up now. What was I thinking?
  3. I hate to be the guy who posts "where do I find x" on a forum.....but where can I find the minimum specs documented?
  4. Downloading the game in Steam. So Exciting! Now comes the nervous wait to see if my dodgy old laptop will play the game.
  5. Awesome episode. Can't wait to see the Beta. That music is fantastic! When I saw it was being played by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra my national pride went psycho! Aussie Aussie Aussie!
  6. Great update Tim. I was really interested in your writing process. I have a really in-depth character interview that I use for my main characters, but nothing really for everyone else. I will start using your questions as a quick way of fleshing out my more minor characters from now on.
  7. DOTT is my absolute favourite Lucasarts game. Hmm, I wonder where I might find the disc.
  8. Hi. I'm Adam Collings. I work as a software engineer in Australia, but I am working toward becoming a published author. My first adventure game was King's Quest I: The Quest for the Crown. I fell in love with the genre immediately. I knew that this was definitely my type of computer game. Some favourite adventure games include * King's Quest series * Space Quest series * Conquest of the Longbow While Sierra games hold a special place in my heart, I also discovered Lucasarts games and fell in love with the following: * Day of the Tentacle (The use of time-travel with 3 characters in different zones is quite possibly the most inspired idea in gaming history) * Full Throttle * The Dig
