  1. Sounds good. You guys should really update the "DFA development update" page and the feed, so that backers get to see this production update. I just stumbled upon it by chance.
  2. For me there was a separate Steam key for Pink Buds, so make sure you didn't miss that one.
  3. That sounds like a great line-up! As a German, though, I am not sure how I feel about the character Rommel.
  4. My guess is that for the Boy and the Girl, act 1 is them in their routines, and ends when they break out of their routines. That would put the Cloud Colony at the start of act 2. Imagine Act 2 will be longer, that's pretty normal. Yes, in the Game Informer article it sounds just like that.
  5. For successful jumping you have to get used to the delay and press the button early enough. Not exactly good mechanics, but manageable.
  6. Of course there's a recording of the whole affair. Shaving starts around 12:00. http://de.twitch.tv/timoflegend/b/360957077
  7. Yeah, but the number of these codes is limited to 50. http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/LanguagesUtilities/Conceptual/iTunesConnect_Guide/12_RequestingPromoCodes/RequestingPromoCodes.html
  8. It's right there: "The confidence interval calculations assume you have a genuine random sample of the relevant population. If your sample is not truly random, you cannot rely on the intervals. Non-random samples usually result from some flaw in the sampling procedure." Active forum users who will even click the link and fill out the complete survey are probably not representative of all backers.
  9. I have no idea how common it is, but there are at least some other studios do some sort of game jams, too. For example, Bethesda did a "Skyrim Game Jam", where developers had a week to work on their own ideas for Skyrim additions (not new games though) – here's their short video of the results: Of course Double Fine's process of having daily documentary episodes, livestreams and even releasing the prototypes seems pretty unique!
  10. Same here. Higher mouse sensitivity is not a problem, but for anything <=0.99 I cannot turn at all. Mouse buttons and moving the mouse in the menue still works, though.
  11. I suggest you send them an e-mail (Levering@2playerproductions.com). Uploading SD versions should not require too much work.
  12. CritterVerse. Those vastly different worlds and funky monster/character designs could have made for some very funny puzzly-puzzly. @ leandrox: Black Lake is being developed as the fifth prototype! Check the updated Humble Bundle page: https://www.humblebundle.com/double-fine
  13. I think Tim just said Black Lake will be the fifth prototype! Hooray!
  14. Well, certainly you will have to do that, at least that's what I took from the opening post. I think it'll be $15 a month. Don't worry, though; just send it all to me and you're good!
