  1. Thank you for finally making it possible to play another Tim Schafer adventure game! I hope it does so well we'll see more
  2. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/315061806/nelly-cootalot-the-fowl-fleet-retro-pirate-adventu Nelly Cootalot, cute point-and-click adventure project
  3. The Rockin' Dead comes with 3D glasses...
  4. Another adventure game: The Capri Connection. http://kck.st/Y3WXT8 This is the third part of a trilogy made with real photographs in actual locations (predominantly on the island Capri, no surprise there).
  5. Asylum (new horror-adventure from Agustin Cordes, maker of Scratches). http://kck.st/VlnMSs
  6. Also, what about shipping costs? Or will these prints be sent with the boxed copy of the game etc?
  7. Looking forward to both the Minecraft documentary and the next DFA episode!
  8. Jack Houston has reached its funding goal. There's still about 40 hours left to reach stretch goals. Here's a lithograph of the second playable character: (some of the pledge tiers will get you this and/or another one (or all of them).
  9. There's a sequel (prequel), too, out in Germany only for the moment, but hopefully in the rest of the world soon as well. Recommended! It tells the story of how Nathan met the Critter.
  10. The logo on the pin is from the Double Fine Adventure. Also, along the outer edge it says in really small letters 2playerproductions.com Double Fine.com Adventure Backer!
  11. Recently changed from Mint to Fedora. Not really playing games on this system though, got a separate Windows PC for that. Probably would if there were more games available for Linux...
  12. Okay, since not everyone will read a topic with 2013 in the title, let's make this happen in 2012!! If you want to meet fellow backers, here's where you go. Wear the t-shirt if you have it Feel free to copy and paste and add your own local events! (Sticky would be nice) Europe - Friday August 17 GamesCom Cologne Germany. Officially a general adventure lovers meet organised by adventure-treff.de. Traditionally, because it is organised during GamesCom, many developers and publishers are visiting and hanging out with the fans, mingling freely and talking about anything and everything. An excellent chance to talk to your favourite developer in a super-relaxed atmosphere. Bring your manuals or boxes if you want them signed. Confirmed for this years event are Charles Cecil, Steve Ince, Agustin Cordes, Daniel Pharos, Bryan Wiegele, Martin Ganteföhr, Jan Müller-Michaelis, Igor Hardy and many many more. In previous years Ragnar Tornquist and Dan Connors visited. Who knows who else will show up this year... More information:Facebook and/or Official announcement (in German, but has link to English PDF with all the relevant info) - Adventure X ?? Date and venue to be confirmed ?? United Kingdom. Last year, there were talks/presentations/performances from Chris Bateman, Neil Rennison, Chris Jones (Adventure Game Studio, not Tex Murphy), Alasdair Beckett-King, Ben Yahtzee Croshaw and Simon Loveridge. 13. Could you please enlighten me on what country you are from and the normal shipping time for orders from the US? Thanks; It could really calm me down. I'm super stressed out because I just got the shipping confirmation and I'm in Norway now, but Tuesday I'm traveling to California for about 3 weeks. I hope to god that that it's either SUPER fast an ready for pickup on Monday or super slow, so it won't arrive in the mail before like midway into my vacation and I'll make it back to collect it before the stupid postal system returns it to Fangamer. I am in the Netherlands. It used to take at least three weeks for stuff to arrive here from the States, but in the last year or so only ten to twelve days. This was only eight (all "days" counted as "working days" not weekends etc). Don't the Norwegian Postal Services deliver stuff to neighbors? They do here. I wasn't home when the package arrived but my nextdoor neighbor was home and didn't mind holding on to it until I came home (they put a note through your letter slot informing you which neighbor has it).
