Huge fan of old-school adventure games. The LucasArts Scumm-based games are some of my favorites. Can't wait to play Double Fine's new adventure game!
  1. Still waiting on Mac support before I buy this game. Any updates at all?
  2. I was just wondering if there was any ETA for Mac support?
  3. Tim (and the rest of Double Fine), I'm sorry for the way I directed those questions/comments at you guys. I was just a bit shocked about the whole thing & might've taken it a bit far. I was too blinded by my frustration & upset to even think how you guys were probably feeling about the whole situation. Again, I'm sorry. You guys still are one of my favorite developers
  4. Here's my 1 question to DoubleFine. Why put the game on sale (while internally knowing that development of the game was stopping)? In that week, or so, you probably got a nice little bump in sales by not being honest with people. That's the shadiest part of this whole thing.
  5. Wow, that just sums up the situation going on right now. How about an ACTUAL explanation of what happened behind the scenes? We payed the early access price and trusted DoubleFine to COMPLETE the game. We didn't expect to have the "development" thrusted on the buyers and being told "hey, you guys can finish it now". What happened to the devplan? What happened to the beta stage? How can ANY game go from Alpha 6 to a "finished" 1.0? Definitely going to be wary before supporting another DoubleFine game.

I'm done with DoubleFine. I hope this shady-as-hell decision backfires.
  7. Just finished Act 1 & I was blown away at the ending I was not expecting that Amazing job Reds Team! Bring on Act 2!
  8. Just installed Psychonauts again and I have this same issue. Any idea as to why Steam would essentially install this twice?
  9. Thanks for looking into it. I tried creating another desktop shortcut and the same icon (the Reds one) showed up again.
  10. Yeah, we're still working on that particular issue. How's the rest of the game. Everything look as it should? yeah, it's definitely smoother/faster than it was before Definitely a step in the right direction
  11. I installed the update. Overall, it's not slowing down as much/as often but, I'm still being forced back to the homescreen pretty randomly. I've got no other apps running in the background.
  12. How often would you say that you're being dropped to the home screen? It does sound like it's running out of memory, but we've tested that device in house and has run fine. Also try killing the background processes (if there's any) to free up memory. I'm dropped to the home screen usually right before a battle (when I'm at the screen to select the heroes) or right after the battle (before I'm sent to the results screen). It's completely random though. The game slows down the most during a battle. I've got no other background processes running and I'm still having these issues. It really is too bad because this game is pretty awesome !!!! Wow, we'll get to the bottom of this and fix ASAP! Thanks! This is why DoubleFine is so awesome

  14. I'm running it on a 4th gen iPod Touch, running iOS 6. The game keeps sending me back to the homescreen randomly. I've tried force quitting it (from the multitasking bar thing), rebooting the iPod but, still have the same results. The game also feels very slow at times, like the iPod is running out of memory. Those are my only complaints about MMOJ. Other than that, AMAZING game!
