  1. Partnership with Adult Swim Games

So, they're making a game from AF that the fans didn't vote for? The game looks good and I like the idea, but I'm not sure how I feel about DF asking us to vote for what games we want to play, charging us money to make that vote, then ending up making one of the games we didn't vote for.
  2. What were the results?

Maybe it's a bit soon to say this, but I'm surprised none of these have been announced as going into development yet. If I remember correctly, Spacebase, Hack n Slash, and Autonomous were put into production relatively soon after AF 2012. What's DF working on right now besides DotT and the unannounced Adult Swim game? Maybe one of the prototypes is the AS game?
  3. Double Fine sale on Humble Bundle

Finally picked up Iron Brigade, now that it's back in DF's hands. I'm looking forward to this. Went ahead and grabbed Psychonauts too, because why not, only 99 cents. This is a great sale.
  4. e3

Shenmue III, Final Fantasy 7 remake, The Last Guardian, and my personal favorite Firewatch. Mic drop. Also, just a heads up. Mod support isn't exclusive to the Xbone, it'll be on PS4 as well. http://www.destructoid.com/fallout-4-will-have-mod-support-on-ps4-too-294056.phtml
  5. Massive Reviews

Destructoid did give it a score, 6/10. I kinda feel like you're trying to hide the low review score.
  6. Well, I got my refund guys. I have to say, I don't have any bad feelings towards DF or 2PP at all. I respect them, and I greatly appreciatively how they've treated me throughout this process. They weren't obligated to give me my money back, but they did anyway. Despite this little kerfuffle, I still love Double Fine. Fangamer, on the other hand, who ignored multiple emails? They can kindly f*** off.
  7. So, what's next DoubleFine?

Here's hoping they're finally working on Blake Lake.
  8. I appreciate the update, I really do. Thank you. I'm sorry if I'm coming across as difficult but the lack of updates and being ignored by Fangamer was starting to get under my skin. I wish we could have some kind of definitive timetable, but I understand why we can't have one. I also know that neither 2PP nor Double Fine will take the money and run, but this lack of communication and the same update telling us the same thing over and over again was and to some degree still is getting out of hand.
  9. I don't think its accurate to say there's a basic amount communication going on when we only get one update every two months, and whenever we do get an update they say the same thing. "We're working on the menu's and it's almost done." Which is what they've been saying since November. Perhaps no progress has been made in five months or more, but I would like them to actually admit as such rather than just role out the same company line over and over again. Its condescending more than anything else.
  10. I don't disagree--Fangamer should've responded to you by now, and the confirmation email probably should've had a better explanation of Fangamer's role--I'm just trying to provide some context. It's cool. Honestly, what upsets me the most is just constantly being ignored by Double Fine and Fangamer. That update by Spaff says they're working on menus. They've been working on the menus since at least January, and then said they had to get more basic menus because the guys at DF couldn't help them anymore. Now they're still working on menus? Now they're saying they need to work on some music as well? What? We're just getting mixed messages, very slowly, and no one really seems to care. None of the updates are directly addressing the concerns raised here. I tell you, if this were EA or Ubisoft doing this, the gaming world would be tearing them a new a-hole right about now.
  11. I've emailed Fangamer twice about a refund over the past two weeks and haven't heard anything back. How long did it take them to respond to you? I emailed them yesterday and got a response today at about 2pm EDT. I used their "orders" email found in large text on their Help page. I'm not sure why they haven't gotten back to you. (Unless you're trying to get a refund for AF2014, which would be silly.) How would that be silly? Because Fangamer doesn't sell it. As far as I can tell, AF2014 is and has only ever been sold via Humble, and the promised physical copies were only offered as part of the Humble promotion early last year, which means you would need to seek a refund from Humble. (Who would in turn have to tell Fangamer not to ship you a copy. (Assuming they'll even allow that.)) Fangamer's role in all this appears to be solely distribution of the physical copies promised to Humble customers who paid for it. Not to say Fangamer won't receive stock of physical copies to sell at some point in the future, but at this point they don't have any to sell. The order code I received definitely came from Fangamer, and in fact the email I got regarding my pre-order told me to email Fangamer if I had any questions or anything about the pre-order. At the very least, I would expect Fangamer themselves to tell me as such rather than flat out ignoring me. Edit: Yep, double checked the email and it definitely says to contact Fangamer if you have any questions or problems with the order.

  15. I'm tired of waiting for something that's never coming out. Who do I talk to about getting a refund?
