  1. I second this, my backer shirt is starting to fade. I would gladly pay for another. =)
  2. Cool something for me to watch tonight. Thanks for posting it. I can't wait to see episode 5 next week.
  3. I have an idea. How about inside a nudist colony? It could be a funny location and also you could use creative ways to cover up the naughty bits. I think a lot of good jokes could be had in that type of setting.
  4. Then explain your point... From your previous posts it seems that it is completely unacceptable to even ask someone about gender and video games. When creating this topic I only wanted to try and relate to a point of view I can't fully understand. All I wanted was an overview of different females opinions on games... Why is this important you might wonder? Well my girlfriend DIRECTLY asks about female opinions on games. "Is this a guy game?" is the question I hear most often. Because of that it would be nice to be able to say, "No honey, girls play this game too and I can give some examples as to why." So, yeah to call me sexist because of this really DOES insult me and make me excited.
  5. . again =P Yeah my noobishness<--made up word. My grammar is awful tonight.
  6. Lol, saying that all women do not think a like is sexist? Ignore it and ignore her eh? I feel sorry for your partner. Did I touch on your nerves when I said that women think differently? Maybe to you all women are simple machines that you should not question and try to ignore while following your own rule book. You may not believe that a woman's opinion is important to other woman or yourself but I certainly think it can be helpful. Honestly, how ignorant can you be to think that your opinion as a male relates to ALL women. Live in your closed shell, don't allow your wife/girlfriend to seek advice from her peers or friends. Sorry but I don't want to live in such an ignorant world.
  7. I honestly want you to expand on how I am being sexist. I only want to get closer to my girlfriend and I have already stated that women do NOT think alike. I am just curious on various women's perspective on what they enjoy about games. If you think that is sexist and that all women are alike then I am afraid YOU are the only ignorant one here.
  8. Ah, I figured I would explain the situation a little. I have only been dating this girl for about a month. She never has really played any video games so I figured that an adventure game might be the best way to get her into the genre. It would be neat if we could share some common interests and she has expressed interest in my hobbies. I have already tried to participate in some of her hobbies like scuba diving and book clubs. I am not foolish enough to believe that I can speak for the female mind through my own experiences, so I figure that if I could relay some feedback from other women I might be able to get her interested in a deeper way. I would be able to say that some women like this hobby for X reason. I understand that all women are not the same and opinions vary between each individual, but I just want to broaden my scoop of reason to talk about my interests.
  9. I am trying to get my girlfriend interested in this game, so I think it would help if I got a female perspective. I just have two questions... What draws you to Video Games in general and why does this game(DFA) appeal to you? I need some selling points. =)
  10. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1424869054/tortured-hearts-or-how-i-saved-the-universe-again It looks really promising but unfortunately it has gotten zero buzz. Does anyone else know more about it?
  11. Wow I didn't realize that amazon got that big of a cut... Ah well thanks for sharing the numbers, I always find stuff like this interesting.
  12. I don't get why so many people think I am suggesting "required" mini-games. All I am asking about is something that is a fun distraction outside the regular game play mode. Something you can do on the side when your thinking about the solutions to puzzles or are playing the game through a second time.
  13. Yup I am new like the rest, kickstarter and all that rot. This is the first forum in which I have ever used my real name. Heh My first adventure game was Kings Quest 1 and I have been hooked ever since. I love RPG's both western and eastern, and will play most genre's excluding sports games. I look forward to meeting everyone.
