I'm pretty sure I still have a WoW character on Bonechewer - What's the Guild name? -
Production Update #4: The State of the Game
Malistair replied to Greg Rice's topic in DFA: From Double Fine and 2 Player Productions
On behalf of the backer hive-mind I apologise for potentially upsetting messages becoming more common We're all just feeling the effects of long-time and no updates - these recent forum posts have gone a long way towards dissipating that weird entitled bitter feeling we get as withdrawal symptoms between updates. A short official -(stickied?) post from the team or selected members on the state of development throughout jan/feb in preparation for the next video update would be fantastic but we're not greedy, just a hideous amalgamation of people from all over the world -
While 2pp are busy over the holiday break I'll field this one. Levering2pp in another thread expressed a clear interest in doing something special with the final days worth of footage, it will just take some time to work 2pp's characteristic magic

The OFFICIAL "Who did you vote for and why" thread
Malistair replied to Tim Schafer's topic in Amnesia Fortnight 2012
I voted for Kaiju Piledriver because it looked like the game I'd have the most fun playing. Then I voted for Autonomous because I wanted to secure its place amongst the top four - the aesthetic and gameplay were the most enjoyable of the most popular suggestions -
Why are there so many lengthy inexplicable delays?

What did you like and/or dislike in previous Double Fine titles?
Malistair replied to Anders Andersson's topic in DFA: Discussion and Feedback
Grim Fandango. Also - Ask me about Grim Fandango.... nah I don't want people asking me about Grim Fandango. -
Episode 4: Walking Around in Our Drawings
Malistair replied to DF Chris Remo's topic in DFA: From Double Fine and 2 Player Productions
Everything I've seen from the concept art so far assures me this will be the fantastic adventure game I had in mind when I backed the project. Without having puzzles or dialogue spoiled I'm as close to assured in this game being a true successor to the fantastic adventure games of a previous decade as it's possible to be -
All I wanted to know The only reason we get so edgy around this time of the month is because of the quality of the anticipated product.
-
Thanks, I was talking about episode four but it looks like you're on my page now

We've been sitting at COMPLETE COMPLETE COMPLETE RELEASE SOON For a few days now what's the hold up?

Sidequest: “It's All Coming Back To Me”
Malistair replied to Levering_2pp's topic in DFA: From Double Fine and 2 Player Productions
I also love heaps of additional dialogue in my adventure games it gives me something to do to slow the pace down between puzzles and increase replayability -
Dear 2PP: How Much Exclusive-Behind-the-Scenes-Sausage-Making-Video Are We Going to See?
Malistair replied to Frisbyjo's topic in DFA: Discussion and Feedback
I would also like to see more regular updates. Even if not video every week something akin to DF oliver's update on programming is a step in the right direction
