      These Forums are closing!   10/04/2019

After more than a decade of serving this community well, these forums have finally run their course and it's time to close them down. That doesn't mean we want to close the doors on our community, quite the opposite!
Our discord server grows ever busier by the day, and we encourage all Double Fine fans to meet us over there www.discord.gg/doublefine In a short time these forums will become a read only archive and will remain that way until they become needed again.
You never know, it might happen.  There is... a prophecy. Thank you all for being part of these forums, and remember that the fun is definitely not over - so please join us on Discord! Love ya, Spaff, Tim, Info Cow, and all of Double Fine.

  1. I just started a new game to try out the new patches, and in Shay's wake up sequence, his replies to the computer ("Computer, Snooze", "Computer, Off") got cut off part way through by his "quiet snoring". However, I couldn't reproduce this after saving and reloading, so I guess it must be some sort of timing bug.
  2. How beta is the Beta?

So sounds like opinions are mixed? I might wait until the public release then, it's not like I have nothing else to do right now and an extra couple of weeks won't kill me.
  3. How beta is the Beta?

I've been looking forward to Broken Age since the kickstarter, but now that the Beta is coming out, I'm a bit torn. On the one hand, I want to play this game as soon as possible, but on the other I want to have the best experience on that first run through, not tainted by the normal issues that come with betas. With that in mind, how beta are we expecting this Beta to be? Is it really just a test version of Act I, as the word "beta" implies? Or is it the finished product in all but name? Should I wait until the public release, or shall I just get on with whatever it is that gets released today?
  4. What's the highest resolution that the image is actually available in? So that we can do our own scaling/cropping.
  5. Project Reds official site? What the heck??????
