  1. Costumes you want to see

I'd prefer no DF character cameos, honestly. I like a taco or gyro. That's pretty cute, and you can write jokes about people saying gyro differently (easier with voice acting surely).
  2. Costumes you want to see

    Marshmallow Man!
  3. Costumes you want to see

Underage Genetically-Altered Martial Arts Reptile Adorable Godzilla or King Kong Collectable Card Game Master I always thought the dirty ghost costume from Peanuts was hilarious.
  4. Suggestion and Feedback Thread

Oh thank you. Sometimes I would discredit and then go directly to the reports instead of picking up the intercom where the cabinet member would tell me the result, so things didn't technically get out of order, but it wasn't as exciting. E: I will say I did a whirlwind tour through it. Will play absorb it slowly again later.
  5. Costume Quest 2!!

Happy Action Theater -> Kinect Party
  6. Costume Quest 2!!

Sounds like fun! Congrats to DF.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I'll just say I'm working on core tech for now AHHHHHHHHHH! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
  8. Suggestion and Feedback Thread

That might be helpful. An audio fanfare wouldn't make sense on that old style intercom though. I'd definitely like it if the ministers would say when you meet them, "you can always reach the X division/me on the red line." It took me a little while to figure that out. This would be nice too.Putting the results of the discredits in public places like on the radio or in newspapers and showing them to you, I imagine, is more satisfying than reading a report on it. Of course, you need one of these:
  9. The Wicked End

Can you let Big Leg out of the house after it potatoes?
  10. ID@XBOX

Hey, Ben B! Do *we* know what you're super busy with? I can so imagine hanging out with them in Playroom. Little buds sitting on your couch. Flicking them with your finger. And voice recognition. Oh man! I can't wait to meet the buds.
  11. Boombox Bud's music

Pen described the boombox bud as listening to "Casio" music. Brian Min shows off the progress on creating an original song for the bud here at 14:05: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rKur9jarQQ To me it sounds like the "Casio Music" is 80's electro and freestyle a la Soul Sonic Force or Lisa Lisa. I love that stuff. Whenever I get in a funk (the bad kind) listening to this stuff for a day really picks me up. Here's a fun mix you can play on your boombox as you walk around and look for a friendly bud to twerk with you.
  12. Boombox Bud's music

The soundtrack is on your Humble Bundle's now. It has ALL the jams.
  13. HERE IS PROGRESS THREAD

Are materials different than textures? Also, BTW I didn't see Hairy Bud yesterday. I hope he made the cut.
  14. HERE IS PROGRESS THREAD

After watching the stream yesterday, I have to say Raz is a really good actor. His delivery opening up to Tim and confronting the other buds outside the house was top notch!
  15. AF14 2PP Daily Videos?

Does anyone know what's left if anything from 2PP for AF14? One more daily video? More than that?
  16. So Eras What are they and how many will there be?

    We'll find out, and two.
  17. Break in

Whoa! The website was down for some time after midnight. I hope everyone and everything is OK.
  18. Whoops I didn't see this thread. I wrote this in another place. ****** Keeping the focus on Bell rather than the riders may be accomplished if the hero riders are so dumb they can’t sit squarely on the saddle. One could get on but as soon as you move he slides off directly away from the side you turned. Think like cowboy shootouts where they use their moving horses for cover. One hand on the horn of the saddle and the other flailing. They could have their sword out and it would make in world sense that Bell would have to buck them to get a slash out of them. Another hero could only get as far on the saddle to have his belly across it. Another would sit squarely on it but backwards. That would allow a lot of facial expressions from the hero too. ****** Another thought for combat: Maybe a knight does sit upright with his sword out and up. He looks very confident and ready for battle. His inability to swing on his own is because his cutting edge helmet tech doesn't have eye holes or something. (Having his voice sound like it is coming out of a bucket would be pretty funny too.) To make him swing left or right you jerk the stick max distance and the knight panics grabs the saddle at the last second and the sword swings at its widest art. Bell would control the direction of the swing and the attack's cool down would be that Bell couldn't do a hard turn as the hero scrambles to his balanced upright position. If you turn hard before he's reset the hero falls down to his lowest position without swinging the sword. Once the hero is up and poised Bell could fling him right or left at will. This prevents spamming the special attack. It keeps focus on Bell because the camera is set to switch to the inside of the turn, go right the camera swings to the right, and the hero falls to the left primarily showing focus on Bell. I understanding you want the controls to be responsive and if success is based on not doing hard turns that limits mobility and fun. But this type of hero could be a sometimes-thing and set up puzzle like scenarios. Also, there could be a noncombat mission where the person is important or fragile and you would want to transport them without a single jostle.
  19. Things I would like to see in the full game

Keeping the focus on Bell rather than the riders may be accomplished if the hero riders are so dumb they can't sit squarely on the saddle. One could get on but as soon as you move he slides off directly away from the side you turned. Think like cowboy shootouts where they use their moving horses for cover. 20. Day 8

That looks wonderful! The shading on the front of Bell looks great. The character faces are so expressive. When Ray Crook was moving the grex eyes on the episode it really looked alive.
  21. They just couldn't help but put the *PUN, PUN, HORSEPUN!*
  22. So this totally needs to be a full game.

I agree. I like that they aren't showing everything as they make it but will let the players find the secrets and the full games could have even more. Pen seems like a good fit with Double Fine.
  23. So this totally needs to be a full game.

I would like a friendship ending too, but I don't know considering the pitch starts with a ski mask guy pulling you out of a trunk! Everything they are doing sounds so complicated, and on top of that I get the sense this is the scenario video game writers talk about when they have to write hundreds and hundreds of lines but the average player sees a teeny percentage of it.
  24. Very warm, very friendly. The painting is nice. Your design removes the redundancy of seeing all your parts (head, shirt, cart) and the model with everything showing. The cart will match the player color then? I think that makes a more pleasing looking game. You must be in Seattle if you're working with Zombie Studios? I live in Seattle too.
