  1. With the recent news about some games becoming Epic Games stores exclusives (including some crowd funded games that were previously promised for other digital stores), I just wanted to register my hope that this will not happen with Psychonauts 2. I am perfectly happy for the Epic Games store to be one of the digital stores where the game is available for purchase. Competition is great, but I hate exclusives. Steam has many features that I like, and I generally prefer to purchase my games there so that I can take advantage of those features. Anyway, thanks for listening. Hope development is going well, and I'm looking forward to the next update. All the best.
  2. I'm looking for good image quality and convenience. I've used Youtube downloaders in the past for various things, but most of them seem a bit dodgy, and are constantly breaking as Youtube makes changes. Lately, it seems that audio and video are only offered as separate streams if you want decent quality, and then you have to go through the hassle of re-combining them. I'd much rather give a few bucks to the creators of the video, and help support them making future videos.
  3. Any chance of offering a paid download of the Devs Play seasons? I'm thinking of something similar to Double Fine's other videos on VHX. It's nice that the episodes are available to view for free on YouTube, but I'd be willing to pay for a version that I can keep. If it helps fund more episodes, so much the better. Thanks!
  4. F.Y.I., the link seems to be down at the moment. http://adventure.doublefine.com gives a page not available error.
  5. The plan sounds great. I hope a lot of people watch it (and buy the documentary, game, etc.) as a result. I'd really love to see this documentary work continue on future projects. I've loved every minute of it.
  6. Just wanted to add my vote to moving as many sidequests as possible to YouTube.
  7. Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to seeing the additional content (and re-watching the other episodes).
  8. If releasing the documentary will help Double Fine, Broken Age, or generate more interest or funding for documentaries on future projects, then I'm all for it. This documentary series has been awesome, and I don't personally mind it being released to non-backers. I've already received more than my money's worth. I would really like to see this quality of documentary continue on key Double Fine projects in the future. Does releasing this for free make funding of future work by 2PP more difficult or easier? I don't know the answer, but you have my blessing to do whatever you think is best. Keep up the great work.
  9. Loved the remaster. Completed all of the achievements last week. Really liked the the developer commentary (although a visual representation of all of the commentary nodes (similar to Half-Life 2) would have been welcome). It was truly great to re-experience (and finally legitimately pay for) my favorite adventure game of all time. Look forward to more remasters/remakes from DoubleFine. Full Throttle would be great, as I never played that one the first time around.
  10. Just wanted to chime in that I really enjoyed the series and look forward to seeing more.
  11. Just wanted to chime in that I love the concept of this series, and the first episode was great. Looking forward to the rest, and I hope it continues beyond the initial batch.
  12. Sad news. I'm sure this is hard for everyone involved. Hope the folks who were let go find new work soon. Best of luck to them and to Double Fine. Really hope the financial situation improves, as they are such a good developer.
  13. Another great sidequest. I can really identify with Ben's stories about early programming, and making up games on paper as a kid.
  14. Here's another vote for a Bob Chothra shirt :-). Thanks again for another great episode and the willingness to be so transparent. This documentary series has been so amazing. I hope the frustration around the backer exclusive content doesn't make well produced documentaries for future projects less likely, because I have loved the DFA and the Amnesia Fortnight documentaries so much. Really rooting for Broken Age to be a success for Double Fine. The game deserves to be played by lots of people.
