  1. Hi guys, awesome work with DOTT remastered. I noticed that there are no shadows of characters in the game. Are you planning to add later? I think that it will improve much the game graphics. Also a setting for the size of the hotspot's etiquettes and subtitles would be great. Thank you. Don

  3. Subtitles when Shay speaking to Malek, the second time he visits him, appear on the upper right of the screen and cut-off. This happens one time through the selection of Malek's desguise dialog option. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 1/15/2014, 19:04:27 Machine name: DON-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130828-1532) Language: Greek (Regional Setting: Greek) System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. 4. Here are some normal ideas: -Bermuda Triangle -An underwater dome city Here are some odd ideas: -an ancient city (now almost in ruins) built on a very high altitude by aliens or unknown species -a place where past and future co-exists -a yellow submarine (well it's no pink!) -island area inside a huge whale -a town inside a spinning cone Here are some psycho ideas: -a place in the bottom of a shoe -on a rainbow (islands?) -crystal, mirror that you can go through world -islands or town built on a brain Hope that helps a little!
  5. Great work! The graphic style looks rather good, it could use more detail in the background though. Keep up the good work!
  6. "Dear Esther" is more of a demoscene than an actual game. There isn't any interactivity with the enviroment, you can only walk and you can hear the narrator saying random text. The graphics and the atmosphere of the game are rather good but the abscence of a goal and no playability make this game just a nice demoscene, not a game.
  7. Tim, until now we scraped along the ground like rats, but from now on, we soar. Like eagles. Yeah. LIKE EAGLES... WITH 87000 Friends. Viva la revolucion!
  8. Definitely a 2D game. It could use prerendered 3D scenes or cartoonish style, that depends of the story of the game. I don't think that the game would be full 3D. Also the budget is not enough for making the 3D graphics the fans would want (imagine Tales of MI with Far Cry graphics %-P ).
  9. I think also that "size" does matter. We may wouldn't see any other adventure game from Tim and Ron again, so i think that the game, especially after the budget they raised, should at least have a 7-8 hours length (Deathspank was long enough for a 15$ game). Except that, making Adventure games is always fun! ;-) The story and replayability of the game is equally important.Let's hope that the game would be as good as Grim Fandango and DOTT.
  10. In my opinion the best is a fantasy setting in the style of Whispered World or a twisted-post apocalyptic world like Machinarium and Full Throttle.Besides that, there always the option of creating a new original setting-world. I thing that it would be great if DF make a poll for that subject.
