  1. Has anyone else experienced this issue where Grim Fandango Remastered's autosave (on the Switch) slightly hangs the game for part of a second? This isn't a game-breaking issue, but as a LucasArts adventure game veteran and game developer, I do find it somewhat jarring and disruptive to the gameplay experience. As someone noted in an earlier thread in 2015 thread when the autosave feature didn't exist, perhaps this is due to the singly-threaded nature of Grim Fandango's script engine? My suggestion, if anyone at DoubleFine is reading, would be an option menu feature to turn off autosaving. I get why autosave was added, but this old adventure gamer is just fine remembering to take a moment to save. And much thanks to the team at DoubleFine for working to bring Grim Fandango back for us!
  2. Hi everyone, This is the first time on the forum for me and I've made some Grim Fandango sheet music that I'd like to share with you. It could be interesting for the musicians out here and otherwise it will be a nice nostalgia trip to listen to. I think The file contains a collection of songs that you can hear in the first year of Grim Fandango. It’s constructed as a medley, but the pieces can also be played individually. I hope you'll like it! [ Download Sheet Music PDF ] Writing this score down was not an easy task to do, so I apologize beforehand if I used wrong notes, chords or key signatures. I tried to make it sound, play and look as good as possible On my youtube channel you can also find collections of 'Escape from Monkey Island', if you're interested.
  3. Check out this Grim Fandango piece I did a while back!
  4. Not my art, but my friend Adri Tibbs (who just recently got into Grim Fandango) drew this amazing Glottis, and since they don't have a forum account I offered to share it on their behalf. Original tweet here: https://twitter.com/AdriMakesArt/status/779975614073888768/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw If you like this, I'm sure Adri will appreciate you dropping by twitter and leaving them a like and or comment, or checking out their other work. (P.S. does the forum support direct tweet embedding? I tried but couldn't get it to work.)
