Low framerate hovering items over hotspots

Recommended Posts

Getting stuttering and low framerates when dragging items from the inventory over hotspots in this scene:

i5 2500k

8gb ram

gtx 770

Also noticed some framerate issues at the end of the maiden feast scene using the corset on the bird.

dxdiag:

Edit: Seems to be an issue when using a high mouse polling rate (mine was 1000hz), fix is coming, see here http://www.doublefine.com/forums/viewthread/12180/P0/

I reproduced this issue with the following config, playing in fullscreen 1080p:

core i5-760

16GB RAM

NVidia GTX 770 4GB

Win8 64bit

Same thing here.

GTX670

I7-4440

Win7 64bit

8GB RAM

Hovering items on this scene gets the game down to 10 FPS, instead of a solid 60 absolutely all the time.

I was averaging around 60 FPS playing at 1920x1080 full screen. I too noticed occasional frame rate drops when moving items from inventory to interact with on-screen items. For the most part, however, game play was AWESOME. No major gameplay issues. Strong BETA build for my system!

System specs:

i5 3570K at 4.20 GHz

MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard

G-Skill 16 GB RAM (1600)

evga GTX 760 SC (2 GB)

Windows 7 64 bit

Corsair Force 3 SSD

I also have extreme framerate drops in the described situations.

Same problem as well.

Frame rate crawls when dragging an inventory item over the screen. Happens at every area in the clouds (Meriloft?).

Seemed to start happening towards the end of the Maidens Feast.

edit: Problem is fixed when running in windowed mode but not in full screen.
