Game Crashes upon launch or after title screen

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I can't get BA working on my computer. It either crashes about 4-5 seconds after launch (the DF logo guys is just rising above the mountains) or it crashes immediately after pressing the 'new game' button. I cannot get it to go any further than this.

DXdiag Below.

I'll try it on my mac when I get home, and hopefully will be successful. Thanks for listening!

We ran into a pretty similar case here a few days ago. Try disabling the Steam community overlay and if you haven't done so install the latest drivers for your graphics card.

I played the game for about 50 minutes.

It's an amazing game so far. =)

I saved and it crashes when I try to enter again. Sometimes crash before the main menu, sometimes after. It aslo crash when I try to load my game or start a new one.

Since is a blocking bug is there something that I could do to help identifying it?

Is there some log that help to know what happens?

Best,

Rafael

Disabled Steam overlay and worked like a charm. I actually have had perhaps a half dozen random crashes since then, but it is not really affecting my gaming experience too negatively. The game loads quick and the autosave is always right where I left off.

-Many thanks!
