Macbook Core Duo boots but crashes on new game...

Hmm,

Mac OS X 10.6.8, 2GHz Intel Core Duo...

Game starts up, opening menu works beautifully but upon beginning the game black screen, stuttering audio, crash. Turned off Steam Social, don't think I'm running anything in the background either. I'd chalk it up to this being a rather old laptop but the menu looks and acts great.

I'll followup with my logs.

(Oh, and thanks to the fantastic team at Doublefine, can't wait to get playing!)

Looks like your graphics card doesn't support frame-buffer objects. Can you try switching to windowed mode and then maximizing the window?

Same here. Running an iMac with about the same specs. Starting a game crashes it and the windowed suggestion didn't work on mine.
