The All Things Batman Thread

So... Is this the universe's Azrael without going through that whole story? It kind of looks like it to me.

Really, all the hints are there. Scarecrow is the main villain, but Batman may have to deal with someone else. There's another character who looks like Batman. They hinted at Azrael before. The character would be the next step up in villain class. Or they could just be baiting fanboys which this series loves to do so much.

My guess for villain previously was Todd or Hush, but I think it's a bit late for Todd to be brought in and as much as I hoped otherwise, Hush was just a throwaway sidemission.

For all we know, it's the Joker, having been put into a second Lazarus Pit.

Oh god no.

It's either that or Darth Marsden on LSD.

Wait, no, that's too predictable...

lol No. This time Rocksteady flat out said

"The Joker is dead. Dead dead. He died in Arkham City."

Arkham Knight current suspects

Jason Todd

Tommy Elliot

Scarecrow (could be a manifestation of Batman's fear of turning against Gotham)

The Joker

I'm still leaning towards an Azrael type villain. It would just fit. Batman takes out his common villains and then solidifies himself as the city's protector by taking down an ill-suited challenger. It would just work well in my opinion.

Plus, one of the developers was asked if this new character was a sort of anti-Batman and they laughed it off with a "well... I can't say". I hope I'm right.

Apparently there was a private demo where he kicked Batman's ass.

They put Two Face into Beware The Batman. Hopefully next season they'll include The Penguin or the Red Hood. I'd also like them to put in the Mad Hatter.

I will be extremely disappointed if they don't give Adam West a cat catapult as his weapon in Lego Batman 3 (By the way, I'd make a guess and say Darth's probably the only one who'll get this =P)

No way. It HAS to be the bomb.

Because some days you just can't get rid of it.

He's actually appearing as himself, no 60s Batman. :( Still awesome though.

And yeah, I'll inevitably pick it up when it's cheap enough.

The sad part is that Family Guy and Batman are anywhere near the same sentence.

Man, how did I miss this?

So awesome to see the DCAU designs again (along with several others). Great short for Batman's anniversary.

That short had to be my favourite of the shorts made for the 75th anniversary. Honestly makes me wish for a Batman Beyond revival.

I'm late to the party it seems. I just saw Bruce Timm's Hugo Strange short. That one's awesome as well (it's a great homage to classic Batman, and classic Hollywood films on top of that).

Are there any more 75th anniversary Batman shorts out there?
