I Support Wasteland 2 too
I'm backing Banner Saga and Wasteland 2. Banner Saga is the one I'm really excited about, a combination of King of Dragon Pass and Shining Force is like a dream that it would be very hard to get wrong for me.
Just Wasteland 2 so far - but I'm keeping an eye out... It'd be great to help these developers make games for gamers again - rather than for publishers.
Since Kickstarter only accepts American projects, I was wondering how many people would accept to back a European project on sites like [del]Ulele.com[/del] Ulule.com...
Wher did you get the idea that Kickstarter is America ONLY!!?
The following links are not endorsements of projects, just showing that it's worldwide:
Tel Aviv, Israel
I’m backing Banner Saga and looking forward for next interesting projects out there (translating) I have money and i want to give for you bitches with cool crazy game ideas.
I supported the Double Fine adventure, being an old-school Adventure game fan from the days of Zork. Those old text adventures taught me how to use a keyboard!
After backing DFA, I signed up for Wasteland 2. I had great memories of Wasteland, and have played all the Fallout games as well. A great setting for an RPG, so different from all the trolls and goblins and wizards.
And now, reading this forum thread, I discovered the Banner Saga. Looks like a great team behind that project, and a lovely art style. I contributed to that one as well.
This Kickstarter thing is awesome. I've been buying indie games and supporting indie devs for several years, but not all of them had an easy way to do fund-raising/pre-orders before.
Wasteland 2 and waiting for the Tex Murphy one to launch.
Not a game but animated projet on Atomic Robo, 3 Comics, the Only the living Boy http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1788085420/the-only-living-boy we need more backers Five ghost and maybe the Banner Saga because the game look really really beautiful.
I have funded the usual Banner Saga, Wasteland 2, Ftl games everybody here seems to
heres the ones I have that I have not seen funded by the others here just quickly glancing at the thread
A man in cryo sleep wakes up on an Earth devoid of human life but teeming with strange, frightening creatures in this epic short film.
DOME is a CG animated series created by VFX wizard Brandon Fayette- about a simple robot on an epic journey to get back home.
The first-ever old school RPG series with gamisodes released every Tuesday at 6pm. An homage to the classics with a modern twist.
reminded me of chrono trigger so had to contribute
Just a tad under a day for this one, but I'm putting consideration into this one:
I never owned the first two editions, but I've read them.
I have supported Wasteland 2 and Takedown =)
No, but I will as soon as Tex Murphy goes up. Another one of my favourites who will live again thanks to Kickstarter.
Edit: Banner Saga seems interesting though, so might give that a try.
Just this and the Leisure Suit Larry remake...Al Lowe is involved!
The latest one I've backed..
Leisure Suit Larry.
Seems Al Lowe took a page from DoubleFine's book and started their own campaign.
I support now http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/leisuresuitlarry/make-leisure-suit-larry-come-again
Leisure Suit Larry!
I've supported Wasteland 2 and this open world zombie survival game called The Dead Linger: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sandswept/the-dead-linger
I've also supported Wasteland 2, plus I just recently found out about the Shadowrun Returns project (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1613260297/shadowrun-returns) and immediately had to throw some money at that. I played the crap out of the Genesis Shadowrun way back when Sega Channel was around. All these old school type games coming out of the woodwork are like Christmas in Spring for me, loving it!
I'm a sucker for turn-based rpgs, especially now that the Final Fantasy series has been lackluster for many years and there haven't really been any turn-based RPGs in a while that I've really liked.
Anyways, so I've backed Wasteland 2, The Banner Saga and Shadowrun Returns. Hopefully they'll be true turn-based and not the Baldur's Gate kind, which really just annoyed me when you gimped yourself if you didn't pause. I either want pure real-time or pure turn-based, none inbetween switching.
The only exception I've found to it is the ATB system, since speed mattered, while at the same time you'd make tactical decisions at times to save your turn to have the option to react quickly. So you never lost the feeling of time and pace in combat, while at the same time gaining room for tactical decisions by combat still being structured into turns. If only the balancing of spells/skills were done better it'd have made the FFs perfect combat-wise.
Might be backing LSL remake as well, but I won't be backing any other LSL games if they're being kickstartered afterwards.
I just backed Leisure Suit Larry and The Dead Linger. I really can't wait to see how The Dead Linger turns out, it sounds very fun and Leisure Suit Larry as always will be hella hilarious!
Wasteland 2 & Jane Jensen's Project. For now it's enough for me...
I would support Toonstruck 2 if it had a kickstarter.
Before? No. This was my first one.
But I pledged for Larry 1. Ha I didn´t played this games yet but I´ve it here in my SOUAG. (stack of unplayed adventure games)
And I think I´m gonna pledge for the JJ game, too. I played GK 1 and 2 just a few weeks ago! Now I´m playing GK 3.
$110 for this and then at the last few hours I increased to $150.
And $130 for Larry and $110 for the Jane Jensen I think. (Not pledged yet)
I'm backing Wasteland 2, Shadowrun, Larry and Delaware St. John 4: Asylum of The Lost (another classic adventure point-and-click - http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1065983707/delaware-st-john-4-asylum-of-the-lost)
I'm also considering Jensen's project and I'm waiting for Tex
I've already donated to Wasteland 2 and soon to Shadowrun Returns, and I will most definitely be giving money to the new Tex Murphy project once it gets started. It's good to see all of these classic games getting proper reboots!
ive supported wasteland 2 and soon the dead linger, maybe jane jensen too
I haved backed Shadowrun returns, FTL : Faster Than Light, Auditorium 2 : duet and Wasteland 2.
[edit 21/4/12] i have also now backed Grim Dawn.
I've backed this (obviously), The Banner Saga and Republiqué. Hopefully that karma comes back around when I launch mine. =)
