Another GOG.com promo:

RollerCoaster Tycoon 1,2,3 (link):

75% off for a total of $8.97 or 60% off select titles:

* RollerCoaster Tycoon: Deluxe (Windows)

* RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack (Windows)

* Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum! (Windows)

Steam Daily Deal:

50% off Lords of Football (Windows): 12,49€ / $14.99

And a couple of new bundles:

The Debut 3 Bundle (link):

* Stained (Windows) (Desura)

* Tropical Heat Jet Ski Racing (Windows/Mac) (Desura)

* LogiGun (Windows) (Desura)

* Tales of Maj'Eyal (Windows/Mac/Linux) (Desura)

* Crayon Chronicles (Windows) (Desura)

All of those are on Steam Greenlight.

LogiGun looks like a really cool puzzle platformer, but I don't see it becoming a hit on Greenlight with those graphics. Crayon Chronicles looks very nice visually, but I'm not sure how it plays.

Build a Greenlight 3 (link):

* Drip Drip (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Desura)

* The Howler (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Desura)

* BrokenEarth (Windows) (DRM-free/Desura)

* Rooks Keep (Windows) (DRM-free/Desura)

* Overlight (Windows/Mac/Linux) (DRM-free/Desura)

* Ocean City Racing (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Desura)

* Paradigm Shift (Windows) (DRM-free/Desura)

* Residue (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Desura)

* Rawbots (Windows/Mac/Linux) (DRM-free/Desura)

* DeCalc (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Desura)

The Howler has an interesting control scheme - you can control a hot air balloon by noise and Residue looks very cool on a first glance.

Yea, usually the Steam sale starts around this time of year right? I have to say though, Amazon and others have had some better sales then Steam as of late. I know I shouldn't even be checking this stuff, I need to finish the games I have now rather then picking up more. Ugh. The sorrows of gaming.

@Double H: Thanks for the heads up. I'll write a parser for it tonight.

@dangeROSS: I believe the Steam summer sale started the last Thursday of June two years ago and the first Thursday of July last year, so maybe it starts on Thursday.

Not that I'm particularly interested in that specific deal (I mostly play platformers and puzzle games on DS and 3DS), but it sucks that Club Nintendo isn't available in Norway.

Note that I'm only listing DRM as either Steam, DRM-free, some Steam, some DRM-free or a combination of the latter two. Any other kind of DRM isn't listed, since I'm not interested in the other alternatives. Let me know if you are though, and I'll include it. I've chosen to exclude OS, since it's not always reliable and often there are separate entries for Windows and Mac versions.

Steam Daily Deal:

75% off Alice Madness Returns (Windows): 12,49€ / $4.99

Presumably the last daily deal before the summer sale.

Also that conversion to Euro is fucking insane! We have to pay four times as much for the game!? Eh, no thanks.

Pay what you want for:

The Cat Lady (Windows) (DRM-free/Desura/GOG.com)

Beat the average for:

Cat Lady OST

The Cat Lady is a new, critically acclaimed horror adventure game by designer Remigiusz Michalski (Author of Downfall, 2009). A gripping story, pumping soundtrack, high-resolution artwork and voice acting will engross you on your journey through the strange and often terrifying world of The Cat Lady.

Susan Ashworth, known in her neighborhood as the crazy Cat Lady, is a lonely 40-year old on the verge of suicide. She has no family, no friends and no hope for a better future. One day she discovers that five strangers will come along and change everything...

But those five, "The Parasites", are also the most ruthless, deranged and cold-blooded bunch of psychopaths the city has ever known. They will stop at nothing to hurt Susan. Unless, she hurts them first...

Susan's few weeks journey doesn't take her across the world and won't turn her into a hero. She has little faith in others and hardly even cares about herself. She can't fight and has never fired a gun in her life. But she's hanging onto that thin thread of hope, that in the end, as promised, there's an elusive reward waiting for her. Something worth trying for. Something that'll help her find an unlikely friend. Something that'll give her life a purpose...

Susan's journey takes her on a roller-coaster ride between the world of the living and the world of the dead, where the only way to survive is to overcome her biggest weakness: her own self.

I'm not a big fan of horror adventures myself, so I think I'll pass.

For such a low price you owe it to yourself to buy The Cat Lady. Better yet buy five copies!

The full asking price of the Skyrim legendary edition disgusts me. Most Goty editions come out at $40, in fact, this offers no real incentive to get it outside of the sale since you can buy the vanilla game used, plus all the DLC for a bit cheaper than the legendary edition. What exactly is the point then?

@inm8#2: Uhm, maybe. What kind of horror is it though? I can take the 7th Guest kind. I hate tension and jump scares in games though. I play games to unwind. There's enough stress in my life as it is.

I also completely missed the latest Humble Weekly Sale (link):

Pay what you want for:

* The Geneforge Saga (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Steam)

* Avadon: The Black Fortress (Windows/Mac/Linux) (DRM-free/Steam)

* The First Avernum Trilogy + Blades of Avernum (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free)

* Avernum: The Great Trials Trilogy (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Steam)

* Bonus Game Art and Hint Books

Beat the average for:

* Avernum: Escape from the Pit (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Steam)

* Nethergate: Resurrection (Windows/Mac) (DRM-free/Steam)

Platforms and DRM is listed in a really fucked up way this time, but I think I got it right.

Tough to describe. It's all-encompassing horror, mostly psychological. There is gore and some disturbing imagery. Definitely not for the squeamish.

These reviews might help give you an idea of what it's like.

STOP IT, DIGITAL DISTRIBUTORS!!! STOP ASSAULTING MY BUDGET!!!

Steam sale is bad enough, now we have the prospect of all those Atari games disappearing any moment after this weekend sale.
